Good afternoon,
We are very happy to confirm that the ERYC Housing proposal regarding land off Station Road, Shiptonthorpe has been dropped due to viability issues and the site will be cut and returned to agricultural use.
Our Wolds Councillors opposed and argued against this development alongside the Parish Council because it was felt that such a development was not in line with the village’s development pattern and would have resulted in development intrusion into the countryside.
We thank everyone who helped the Parish Council with this matter.
