Good afternoon,
You may or may not be aware of some concerns both residents and the Parish Council have regarding the Northern Gas works which are taking place by the bridge on the A1079 and how their current scoffolding setup is reducing the height of the culvert.
East Riding County Council were also made aware of these concerns at the Parish Council meeting last night.
Following these concerns, we have received confirmation that Northern Gas will be removing their scaffolding boards and cover wrap so that it will not reduce the height of the culvert. They have confirmed this will be happening today, due to the forecast given over the weekend.
A contractor from Northern Gas will also be coming on Sunday to inspect the river height and make sure no debris is caught on the scaffold.
